Pilot Power Plant

The construction of a pilot power plant of smaller output with a rotary tower and a monopile foundation complete with a resistance plate is very much recommended, because, as the full-scale project involves considerable financial outlays, it is prudent to double-check the results of EKO-PRO solutions in practice prior to the construction of a full-scale power plant with the output of 5 MW and, in a further time perspective, of 2x5=10 MW.

As such verification does not have to take a long time, we suggest to use for that purpose a second-hand dismantled wind power plant after useful life but still operational. For instance, it may be a facility with the power output of 0.5 MW.
The cost of such a construction, together with fixing a rotary tower thereon and putting it on a monopile foundation with a resistance plate, should amortise after 4 years of its operation provided that:

The pilot power plant will above all permit to verify the assumed technical parameters of the monopile foundation with a resistance plate and of the rotary tower as well as to test how they work under various weather conditions.
It will also allow to test the method of assembly and especially of the final phase thereof.
