Land-based Wind Power Plant
The difference between EKO-PRO Land-based Wind Power Plant and EKO-PRO Off-shore Wind Power Plant is that the back of the land-based power plant tower rests on rollers instead of floats. The rollers roll over the base when the wind direction changes. Such solution may be very efficient in small and medium wind power plants provided considerable simplification and cost-effectiveness of the power generating set and regulation systems. Here is the description of the proposed solution:
(Drawing 7) The drawing presents a wind power plant characterised by the above-specified features.
The table below shows initial technical data for this power plant. The average wind speed per year used in our calculation is assumed for a location in northern or central Poland, where the local conditions are good, or in the Polish seaside belt where the local conditions are medium.

Refurbished wind turbines, being in sell now; can be applied to structure of wind power plant according to EKO-PRO project. Recommended power outputs of such power plant are: 2x75 kW = 150 kW, 2x100 kW = 200 kW, 2x130 kW = 260 kW.
